David Lindley – Mercury Blues

THEY’VE all had a crack at Mercury Blues, from the Steve Miller Band and Meat Loaf to Dwight Yoakam and Alan Jackson, but we reckon you can’t beat the 1981 version by David Lindley.

Taken from the American multi-instrumentalist’s El Ray0-X album, it appeared on the Florence Italy episode of Miami Vice in 1986.
