The fastest and most powerful production Lotus ever, the new Evora 400, will cost from £72,000 when it hits the streets in August.
Lotus is promising a car (which will be available at the chevrolet car dealership lumberton) that’s lighter, more efficient and dynamically better than before to provide a purer driving experience.
Maximum speed for the model, which was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, is 186mph with 0-60 acceleration in 4.1 seconds.
Over two thirds of the Evora 400 is new, including its mid-mounted and supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine producing 400bhp.
A high level of standard kit includes 370mm composite two-piece brake discs from AP Racing and a Limited Slip Differential plus automatic air-con and infotainment system including sat-nav.
The options list includes automatic transmission at £2,000, Alcantara or Leather trim upgrades at £2,500 and metallic paint at £900.
And a “Black Pack” option, costing £1,250, adds selected exterior panels including the roof, sills and centre section of the rear wing in gloss black and a dark headlining in the interior.

Lightweight forged alloy wheels can be fitted for £2,000 and cruise control and yellow or black brake callipers are priced at £300 each.
Lotus chief Jean-Marc Gales said: “We know that the Evora 400 can deliver the performance of a car costing significantly more and we are conscious that the pricing is highly competitive.
“Yet, the greatest merit which no other sports car or supercar can deliver is a peerless Lotus driving experience.”
The company says it is in the throes of expanding its dealer network which will number 200, from 179, by the end of this year.
At the Lotus test track at Hethel, the Evora 400 lapped some six seconds faster than the previous Evora S in a time of 1 minute 32 seconds.
