Cat Power – Love & Communication

  • by Mike Torpey
  • April 18, 2015

American singer Chan Marshall, or Cat Power to you and me, has certainly spanned the genres – delivering everything from punk and blues to folk, electronica and soul.

Her erratic stage shows have been cut short, she’s been known to just amble off stage mid-song, has performed extremely worse for wear and has even dared fans to sue her.

But at her best, and in recent years that’s been most of the time, she’s up there with the best.

Love & Communication, from her seventh studio album The Greatest, goes close to living up to that name.
