A dazzling new limited edition model named the DS 3 Dark Light has been unveiled – with just 300 examples being made available in the UK.

One of the most eye-catching models displayed on Citroen standalone brand DS’s stand at this summer’s Goodwood Festival of Speed was a shiny vinyl-wrapped black DS 3.

And following public interest and positive feedback, the model has now been released as a new limited edition, costing £20,795.

It comes with Perla Nera Black metallic bodywork and a unique clear-backed metallic vinyl wrap along each side of the car.

DS says the wrap is applied seamlessly while its clear backing allows theblack body colour to blend with the metallic DS monogramme design.

Upshot is a premium and stylish new look for DS 3 with scratch resistant vinyl material which can withstand mechanical car washes, pressure washers and fuel spills.

6533DS3DLight2NEWBased on the well specced DStyle Nav trim grade with eMyWay sat-nav as standard, theDS 3 Dark Light adds exterior touches like LED Vision headlights, 17-inch black diamond-cut alloy wheels, chrome door mirrors and ‘Dark Light’ badging on the front wings and tailgate.

Inside there are sports seats and front arm rest, black leather, a convenience pack comprising auto lights and wipers, electrically-folding door mirrors and auto-dimming rear view mirror, plus aluminium sports pedals, premium carpet mats and ‘Dark Light’ dashboard badges.

All models are powered by Citroen’s PureTech 110 S&S petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
