Hyundai’s dynamic duo is on the Go!

Korean car company Hyundai is on the go with a new pair of special edition models.

The dynamic duo – named the i10 and i20 Go! – have been launched to mark Hyundai’s sponsorship of this summer’s UEFA EURO 2016 football championship.

Each limited to a run of 2,000 cars, the newcomers are based on the popular i10 1.0 SE and i20 1.2 SE and respectively cost £9,545 and £11,545.

They come exclusively in Passion Red (pearlescent), Polar White (solid) or Aqua Sparkling (metallic) paint jobs and boast extra kit over and above the SE trim.

So the i10 GO! Variant gets a black interior with contrast blue and white stitching, Bluetooth, steering wheel-mounted audio and phone controls and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

That’s in addition to exclusive badging, LED daytime running lights, side body mouldings, privacy glass and front fog lights.

Meanwhile, buyers opting for the i20 1.2 GO! can enjoy a unique interior styling around the air vents and gearstick to complement a grey/black interior.

This model adds auto lights and wipers, while outside there are projection headlights, GO! badging, side body mouldings and privacy glass.

Hyundai’s UK chief Tony Whitehorn said: “We’ve supported the UEFA EURO football championships since 2000 and as the Official Automotive Partner, Hyundai Motor has supplied official vehicles for every championship since then.

“Our latest special editions are a salute to the forthcoming Championship and will bring our customers an extra-special package at an attractive price.”

Some 1,250 versions of the i10 GO! and 750 i20 GO! models are being made available, with dealers making a £500 contribution when customers take the 6.9% APR Personal Contract Purchase through Hyundai Finance.
